My Holiday Cards for 2013 and film…

Instead of sending out Holiday cards with pictures of my own family…000086540004I sent my friends and family photos of themselves. Harpers2013-_0001Photos I took of them with one of my medium format film cameras…betsy-000070610006And have been hiding all year…chartierfuentes-000063340007Just so I could send them as holiday cards.

RebeccaBea-93860009 These are a few of my favorites…Easter2013-99530009It was hard for me to keep them hidden.000086520005So it is a relief to finally let them out in the world,

Christmas2012-_0001Now that the holidays are over and the cards have been sent.189-harper2yrBut also it is helpful for me to share them all at once,  Kim-HAH2013-Because people ask me all the time what are the differences between film and digital.laura-000070640009I always have a hard time trying to describe the differences in an email. TonyHAH-_0001So I decided I needed more blog posts that only show examples of film.MillerHarpers2012_0001Now when people ask what film is like…169-harper2yrI can send them to this blog post…HAHJames-000096650006And they can see that film creates the kind of photos you want to save all year just to give as presents.259-harper2yr(This is also helpful so my friends and family can see that they really should hang out with me at least one time a year 🙂 )
